[Contest] Lightbound Chronicles - Winter Season

In the oldest corners of Tibia, where legends are born from whispers of magic and war, every adventurer has a story yet to be told. Tibia Light opens the doors to a seasonal contest where imagination takes center stage. Each season, three randomly selected words will shape the fate of new stories, challenging writers to transform them into unique narratives.

Rules

Participation limit

• Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) stories in this season.

Words as Inspiration

• Your text should contain 3 words that will be included in your story: Snow, Eloise (queen), Music.

Authorship and originality

• The stories must be created entirely by the participant.

• Plagiarism is not allowed.

• The use of artificial intelligence for the total or partial drafting of the text is not permitted.

Text length

• Each story should be no longer than 400 words.

• Stories that exceed the established word limit will be automatically disqualified.

Multiple accounts

• The use of multiple accounts to participate or increase the chances of winning is strictly prohibited.

• If discovered, the participant will be permanently banned from all contests organized by Tibia Light.

Required visual content

• Each story must include at least two (2) images related to the story.

Types of images allowed

The following types of images are accepted:

• Hand-drawn illustrations.

• Digital drawings or illustrations.

• Illustrations created with AI only if they are in a comic/digital drawing style.

• Screenshots of Tibia.

Ticketing System 

Annual Lottery:

• Each story submitted according to the rules (in each season) will earn you one ticket for the annual lottery.

• The annual lottery will take place in December, the exact date is not known, yet, but will be announced in due time.

Story editing

Once the story has been submitted, no editing will be allowed.

• It is recommended to carefully review the spelling, grammar, and organization of the text before submitting it.

• Any further edits will result in the immediate disqualification of that story and the loss of the corresponding ticket. In other words, if you are disqualified for editing one story, you will only be able to obtain two tickets if the other stories are not edited. If you edit all three stories, you will lose all three tickets.

Prohibited content

Stories containing the following content will not be accepted:

• Offensive or discriminatory.

• Explicit or sexual (NSFW).

• That violates Tibia's official rules.

Verification and control

The Tibia Light staff reserves the right to request proof of authorship in case of suspicion of:

• Use of artificial intelligence.

• Plagiarism.

• Use of multiple accounts.

Staff participation restriction

• Tibia Light staff members will not be able to participate in the contest.

Use of content

• By participating, the user agrees that their story and images may be used as content for Tibia Light, always respecting the authorship of the creator.

Acceptance of the rules

• Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of all the rules set forth herein.

Final decisions

• Any situation not covered by these rules will be resolved by the Tibia Light staff with the help of the Tibia Community Managers, and the decision made will be final and unappealable.

Language

• Stories can be written in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Confirmation of the story

• The Tibia Light staff (Brighid Grand Explorateur or Milni) will react to your entry with a thumbs up if it is valid or a thumbs down if it is invalid.

Winners Selection

• The selection of winners for each season will be determined in two phases. In the first phase, the tibialight team will review the submissions and select the top 5, which will be sent for internal review and voting by Cipsoft members and other fansite administrators.

Sending the Submission

• To submit your entry, please use our Discord (access link), in our ‘Lightbound Chronicles’ category - Submissions channel. Submit your story in PDF format; other formats will not be accepted.

Deadlines

• The Lightbound Chronicles - Winter Season begins on January 19, 2026, and will last until the end of winter (March 21, 2026) on the server save. 

Restriction on consecutive winners

• A player may not win consecutively.

• If a participant wins in one season (winter), they may not win the following season (spring), but they could win the season after that (summer). In other words, they could win one season and not the next. However, they may continue to participate and accumulate tickets for the annual lottery as normal.

• First Place: Blue Sphere + Golden Warrior Trophy

• Second place: Bear Doll + Silver Warrior Trophy

• Third place: Golden/Silver Rune Emblem of choice + Bronze Warrior Trophy
