Gem Cutter

The Gem Cutter achievement can be obtained by using a Rough Red Gem (See how to obtain this item here) in a vortex, here. It seems simple, but on many servers this can be a problem, since to obtain the Rough Red Gem the deeplings' World Change must be at stage 1, and on servers with a reasonable amount of players this does not usually happen often.

How to get and save the Rough Red Gem version

They can be obtained in these caves [ here ] (When the deeplings are at stage 1), one way to save such an item for decoration or later use is to not convert it into the vortex-cut version. This method allows you to save the item but only once every 24 hours ( and as long as you don't have another one of this crystal in your bag ). If stage 1 persists for more than a day there is the possibility of collecting more than one of this "raw" version.

Usefulness of this crystal

Collecting the crystal in your cave is only possible during a certain stage of the world change, but using it in the vortex to obtain the achievement is not! Basically, having a "raw" version of this crystal in your possession will allow you to obtain this achievement at any time, even on servers where stage 1 has not occurred for months. The only problem with this method is that it may mean having to world transfer from empty servers where stage 1 is common or asking friends who may have this item stored.
